Default Samsung's Yepp T9+

Various flavors of Samsung's T9 music player have been floating around for a good while now, but the Yepp T9+ version packs a little something extra for those not content with just listening to jams. Design wise, not much has changed, as users will still notice a 1.8-inch 220 x 176 resolution display and capacities up to 8GB in size, but this rendition reportedly includes multi-player gaming via built-in Bluetooth. It looks like a good five or so titles will be included, and while we've no doubt that Korean users will find one without issue, getting one over here in North America probably won't be as easy as it should be.

All sources link back to the v1.80 Korean firmware (and games package) released last week, which has been misinterpreted as a new model of the T9.

The firmware contains new games, some of which utilise bluetooth to play multiplayer games between two T9s as well as giving the ability to load flash games onto the player individually. It also solved some issues experienced with previous firmware versions: the random function is improved, stereo recording of FM radio is restored and OGG tags are now read correctly.

This is a very welcome firmware update for T9 users, but unlike the second generation which was a new model with bluetooth capability, unoffered with the first, the 'third story' is only a firmware.
