Default How to fix MTP problems

Well the threads of everyone having MTP problems are getting kind of annoying so I am doing this

How to fix MTP problems
  1. Put player in MTP mode
  2. Open Device manager by right clicking My Computer and then clicking properties, then click the hardware tab, then device manager
  3. Right click the player it should have a yellow exclamation point next to it, then click uninstall when you see the warning that says you are about to uninstall the device from the system click OK.
  4. Wait for the computer to reinstall the MTP drivers for the player
Hope this helps

Sony Walkman NWZ-S544 (DEAD has a mind of it's own and don't feel like fixing it!)

what i also noticed- (but this might just be our computer that does this) is that i have to plug and unplug my player 3 times before it recognizes it as a "portable device"... kinda weird...
