Just download the theme, unzip it to the sansa, and select the theme in Rockbox (Settings, Browse Themes)

Actually DockPodAA, along with most other worthwhile themes are packaged with digibuild. So all you need to do is download the latest digibuild zip file and extract it to your player's root (usually E:\) Then boot up rockbox and go to settings->browse themes. DockPodAA will be listed as an option.

WOW digerati. I really have to thank you. I tried rockbox a few times, and each time didn't like it for something or other (lack of good sound, lack of radio etc.) But after I used MultiBL with your theme pack (which is AWESOME) I said what the heck, and gave your build a spin.
It's by far the best version I installed and I'm going to keep it.
Thank You.

Thanks. Its nice to know people appreciate my work.

It looks like WMA support was recently accepted into SVN. There were also some optimizations for PP502x players before that, so I should have a new build out by later tonight. I might update the RettumPod theme too.

Hmmm. Seems like trying to play a WMA file on my e280 causes a lockup. (7-3-07 build)

Screen says 'loading' then to a blank wps screen, then to the SANDISK startup logo and a complete lockup of the player. Had to hold down the power button for 20 sec or so to turn off. Rebooted fine, though.

Tried this on 3 different files. This is the first time I just extracted the zip file onto the e280 without first deleting the .rockbox folder. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. (the previous folder was your build from 6-28-07)

Like your builds, Digi. Thanks for the constant updates. You do good work, man.

Any ideas why this lockup is happening??

You should not need to delete the folder, just select "yes to all" to replace files when you extract.

The lockups are most likely due to the fact that the WMA codec is still under development and needs to be optimized to play fast enough.

Also note that DRM WMA won't work since this is an open source project, we can't support DRM.

If you're still having problems, I suggest waiting for a few more updates to the codec.

No problem. I'll try again as the codec becomes more finalized.

In the meantime, a boot into the OF allows wma's.

Love the versitility in your builds. Neat to be able to jump between themes so easily. Keeps life interesting. :-)

Thanks for the info.

Hey, your build is great, but all of my music is in WMA format and all the tags turned out as unknown!

If the ID3 information is correct and Rockbox still isn't displaying it, it's probably just because the codec is still new. If the ID3 info is blank, then it's supposed to say 'Unknown'

The tags are fine so I assume that WMA tag support is yet to be...

That's likely the reason. There are continuous updates to the WMA codec in SVN now, so I'll keep doing new builds and it should improve each time.

WMA tags should be working since sometime yesterday.

My build hasn't been updated since then, but I'm doing an update now so it'll be ready in about 10-15 minutes.

What exactly are you saying - you want a PM whenever digerati1338 updates the build? If so, what's wrong with just checking this thread every once in a while?

I update it every 1-2 days usually. I try to include updates for every major SVN contribution, and I list major SVN changes on the digibuild page on my site: http://e200.digerati1338.googlepages.com/digibuild. You can tell when the last update was because I date every filename. Look at the first post on this topic or the site to see the latest build.
