I checked it out; that patch doesn't actually do anything yet. It won't replace bitmap resize. It is a different algorithm that will be used in different places in the code, but is not yet implemented.

For the video and photo folders - I can't even recall off the top of my head where those point to. I'd have to check. I'll try to remember to do that and post back, but a search might be easier. I can't remember if its the same as the OF or if we had to make a different folder.

I tried adding the text editor patch, but it's not in sync right now. It patches, but won't compile. I'll keep that on my list of things to do. I should be able to get it working.

I got a simulator up since a few people were requesting a sim with viewports and bmp resize. Right now it only has a linux version. I didn't even think about compiling a windows version until I posted this since I regularly use linux. I'll try to get a windows one up too. Check the site for that.

I guess, I'm the maintainer of the text editor patch, tell me what isn't working and I might fix it.

Code:
CC text_editor.c
text_editor.c:462:22: warning: extra tokens at end of #ifdef directive
text_editor.c: In function ‘plugin_start’:
text_editor.c:468: error: ‘ACTION_STD_STOP’ undeclared (first use in this function)
text_editor.c:468: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
text_editor.c:468: error: for each function it appears in.)
Could just be me; like I said I haven't really looked at it yet.

For the windows sim - It can be built in linux, but its a pain so I'm just gonna build it in windows. LOL - using cygwin to emulate linux in windows to build a sim for windows that I don't wanna build in linux. Anyway, I'll try to get that up in a day or two.

sound, do you think you could include multi font? It's just that the colossus theme works on your build now but since you don't have multi font I have to use the tiny wps font for menus

My first guess would be the keymap change. The latest text editor patch is sync#d to the new keymap.

I still can't FF/RW videos. I looked at your version and it was rev.15983, while MPEG seeking has been added on rev.15994

That's odd. Maybe I forgot to run svn up. I'm doing a new build right now on rev 16000.

For the multifont patch, that is unnecessary. Viewports will replace that too. In the latest version, there is a new font parameter:
Code:
%V|x|y|width|height|font|fgcolor|bgcolor|
Apparently, my site is still throwing bandwidth errors. I would have expected more from google. Anyway, for now, Jeton was kind enough to host my last build on his box.net here: http://www.box.net/shared/5x3y0c7sc4 .

I found a new host. Hopefully this one will work out better. I plan on migrating my whole site over, but for now, it is just the default Mambo homepage. It does, however, have my latest build. So you can d/l my build from there, but the site won't really do much yet. I'll fix the link to the build in the first post on this thread. I think i get 100GB bandwidth per month, so it should work well.

I'm using the keymap that is in SVN right now.

I uploaded a new version of my text editor keymap patch. Actually, the v4 I uploaded to the tracker was the wrong file. I was using "another" v4 all the time, so I didn't notice.

hm, but the font settings for the menu are in the themes .cfg file not in the .wps file?

also, do you think you, or someone could make a custom tagnavi file but that instead of going, artist->all tracks. It went aritist->album->tracks in album. Apart from that your custom tagnavi is so much better than the default!

I might be able to edit it to do that and post it up.

And you're correct about the font. Menu font, and default wps font are specified in the cfg file. To change the wps font to something other than the default specified in the cfg file, put it in its own viewport.

Put your menu font in the cfg file.

Put your WPS font in the viewports font tag. You have to use a viewport to change the font, so If you want to change the font on something that didn't previously need a viewport just do
Code:
%V|0|0|176|220|<font>|fgcolor|000000|

Really? According to the FS page, <font> has to be either 0 or 1:

Specifying "0" for font means that that viewport draws text using the built-in (6x8) system font (FONT_SYSFIXED). Note that this font only includes ASCII characters, so isn't suitable for displaying information from tags.

Specifying "1" for font will use the currently selected user font (FONT_UI).

Other values for font are not rejected, but are replaced with FONT_UI.

The latest viewports together with the latest multifont allows user fonts (userfont1: bla.fnt etc) to be used with viewports.

You are right.

I misread that the first time.
Darn, I guess this means I should do a new build with multifont. I won't be able to get to that until at least tomorrow...

I also need to change one line in the KratoJetVP wps file since The viewports patch was updated to include the font option: add "1" as a parameter before fgcolor anywhere %V is used if you want to do it yourself. Really simple fix.

ok, so with mutifont you just specify the font you want for the wps in the .wps file? then if you change the font it will only change the menu font? I am still pretty confused

You specify the font for different Blocks of text, in the WPS.
EXAMPLE:
Song Title
Artist Name
Album Name

1/178
