Default protective case/cover (k3)

ive only had my k3 a week and ive already managed to scratch it twice. does anybody have any suggestions for for buying a casing/cover for it ?

it seems that all the accessory makers are obssesed with making stuff for the iPod and there's virtually nothing for other brand players.

and even when i did find a k3-specific case, it was for the black k3. i have the red one and would like something meant for it.

im looking for something which can protect it from scratches while still letting me navigate the controls without having to remove the cover (though the last condition is not an absolute)

theres nothing you can do really, the current casings for k3 on the market are crap.. The only choices u have are either
1. use a pouch
2. get a film protector like this one , trim it and stick it on your k3.. I've measured, PSP screen lengths are just nice > a K3.. these arent the sticky type so it wont leave residues on the player

Personally I think a nice pouch works fine, anything that makes your player look ugly defeats the purpose of having a sleek design in the first place.
just my 2c!

I didn't really think much of the screen protector I tried - it seemed to have 'bits' stuck to it

I really like the look of the i-Luv case (iSS 128) - but shipping to the UK is expensive so I'll have to wait for a holiday to the US

I have this protective case from NOREVE for my K3! It's a little bit pricey but it's really great!

Regards,
Jochen

I-nique and INNOV8GB have some cases as well, but hopefully Belkin will bring out a K3 range soon.

the other options all seem a little expensive when compared to the ubiquitous iPod accessories, but the protective film seems allright. does it prevent all scratches and fingerprints ? i think iLuv makes one for the K3.

(ive added one more scratch to my k3. have to buy one of 'em soon.)

I got my case from ebay. I live in the U.S and I had to order it from China. It's a good case though.

This is the case I just ordered yesterday and it looks like it will work for me. I don't like that most of the cases that they make for the K3 dont have an opening for the power/hold switch. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=5902870

I have the noreve case. It looks good and opens and closes easily (it has a magnet).

The one problem is that the usb connector does not fit the case perfectly and when you stick it in it's slightly at an angle.

I agree! I also like using a pouch. I have a nice one meant for the creative zen-v (I "forgot" to return the pouch when I returned that piece of crap).

just thought I'd mention that I finally got a case for my K3. It's an iLuv iss128 which has finally started to be sold in the UK.

I got mine from Dabs but Amazon have also started listing them. Don't worry that they say there are none in stock, just order it and they'll do the rest

Really pleased with the case: its very well made and looks really good too.

It should fit, they're the same thickness from comparing the two.

I'm just using one of these pouches atm.
