Whoah! Just wanted to point out, NO ONE should format their DAP through My Computer. This WILL delete important system files, and turn your DAP into an expensive paperweight! If a format is required, do it through the software that came with your MP3 player, in this case, SMS.

Are you sure? I've formatted my Z5 through My Computer more than once and the system files remain, in fact the default pictures are restored. Have you tried tried this with the T9, or know of someone who has?

i formated also my last player sereval times with the right click. but you can format the t9 with sms. menu->portable device->format. this works also and for some reason my space on the player got bigger.

Default Using T9 with my Mac G5

I would like to upgrade the firmware on my t9 but it isnt recognized as a hardware device by my Mac and so no icon to drop firmware into. Any help would be appreciated.
