Samsung Z5 Wallpaper

I know I'm being a posting-fiend lately but forgive me, it's still new for me.

So if you've been experimenting with wallpaper, you'd know some pictures make much better wallpaper than others. Too big and you miss most of the picture. Too small and it's all distorted. Some look more pixel-y than others.

I thought we could share pictures we thought made exceptionally good wallpaper. =] By good I mean the right size and non-pixelly.

My choices might be too-girly for some.. I think most posters here are guys.

It's Friday and i finally have some time to make my own Z5 wallpapers. Being an anime fan, I made an Elfen Lied wallpaper. The bright pink and brown colours nicely contrast the blue menu colour. I'll post it, and maybe others after classes are over. (strange how i have my study term in the summer. boo waterloo)

Finally got around to it. They are pretty small, of course, but they still look proportional on the Z5.

Yer this is a cool thread, its good too see what everyone has as a wallpaper, and its good to share. All of these are cool but i must say pc832, some of your images were so good that i have decided to upload them to my own system!

Here are some great wallpapers from ABI's very own Sansa E200 series guru (and former Z5 afficionado), Slaughter. I think you'll all appreciate his attention to detail in the way he moved the image up a bit to compensate for the bottom menu bar. Well done!

Here's a few vintage advertisements (I like this kind of art) that look nice on the Z5. I personally think blue images look best as wallpaper because they make the Z5's menu transitions appear to be more seamless. I also think that the text is easier to read against the blue background -- One of my personal favourites is sevenlayers' wallpaper of the blue girl -- The text looks extra crisp. Good job sevenlayers!

P.S. A good resource for wallpapers is to visit any poster/art website and use their thumbnails; most of them transfer over without a hitch.

I need to shrink this somehow, the picture is effing awesome. As a wall paper, the Z5 scales and crops it to about center, as a picture, it just scales it down. It does a very nice job of scaling it, but if you want to use it as a wallpaper without cropping it, it needs to be shrunk.

Sigh: they only allow 98ish kB jpegs to be uploaded, the one I really wanted to post is 640... Photobucket may be worth a try.
