It'd be way to slow - possibly even slower than the NES emulator was (about .5 fps)

I do not have a gameboy or gameshark, so I wouldn't be able to do that. Again, you could try asking in the tracker, but I doubt you'd get anywhere.

1) Yes, I know what it is..
2) As I said, even if someone did create a patch for this (*HIGHLY* unlikely) it'd be too slow to run on the Sansa.
3) Rockboy is a port of GNUBoy, not game visual boy.

I was a little more busy than I expected this weekend. FS#8379 was apparently added, but I think it's actually draining more power.

Automatic updates are back though, so having the last update image change doesn't necessarily mean that there's a change.

patch 8379 was obviously updated for the e200's, whatever it does :-) so tomorrows build maybe has a fix.

another question:
would it be possible to add something to allow a custom bootlogo?

That patch was removed for some reason.

The patch was removed because it was closed on the tracker, and would be replaced by the personalized builds. Speaking of the personalized builds, I've hidden a link somewhere on my site that contains a link to the test page. It doesn't yet compile the builds, and I've included lots of notes to myself on the page, but it'll let you see how it's coming along.

Also, just so I have an idea, how many would actually consider using a personalized build?

Personally I believe you should just leave the personalizing to self compilers. We shouldn't burden you with more work when you don't get paid for it.

I'm working on a way to automatically compile (or at least update) the personalized builds, so that it wouldn't cause much of a problem.

In that case, then hopefully you won't be burdened by broken patches (they are a pain!) on all those different builds.

you can generally view the source code and find the link that way. perhaps that is what he means by hidden. its hidden on the page by the css but it will still show up in the source code.

Well in Firefox, you can go to tools -> page info. Then click on the tab for links then it shows a list of all the hyperlinks on the page.
