NYC looks such a nice place to live. Never been there though, but definitelly going to get there within 5 years. Too bad airline tickets to NY are not that cheap for a student like me. NYC looks to me as what the US should stand for: all cultures thoroughly mixed and people from many different backgrounds living together. It's a shame that the mosk-thing came along and messed it up. I thought people from NYC were more open minded than that.

Woke up to a breakfast of strawberry pancakes, hash browns, eggs with ham, cheese and veggies and bacon prepared by my gf, a good start to a lazy Sunday.

Uuurrghhhh, I hate cinnamon.

I love coming to the USA but the darn country is in love with this bl**dy spice. Why on earth should adding this stuff make food taste better.

In fact to me the whole of the USA smells of the stuff

Anyhow, I like what WalkGood had, sounds a bit like Huevos Rancheros which is a Mexican breakfast dish.

Me, well I am on a diet and so I had two boiled eggs and two dark rye Ryvita crispbreads.......its food Jim, but not as we know it.

Forgot, and a pint of tea....I am british afterall

Heh, seems we had pretty similar breakfasts. I had two hardboiled eggs sliced onto 4 slices of buttered rye toast with a dash of salt on top and a cup of coffee. I got hungry while boiling the eggs so I had two ham sandwiches while they were boiling. I'm not on a diet...

I used the rest of the (2) eggs I boiled in the morning for a tuna/tomato/egg/balsamic vinegar/olive oil salad later in the day.
