Default How to delete bookmarks

I have just bought the D2 and am mostly very happy with it. However, I cannot work out how to delete bookmarks. When I'm listening to audio books, once the bookmark is used, I don't need it any more and I don't want to build up an ever increasing list of bookmarks. There doesn't seem to be anything about it in the user instructions or on the Cowon website FAQ.

Is there any way other than using bookmarks to automatically resume playing from the point where I previously stopped after turning off the player? Even after pausing for a period the player turns itself off and then starts from the beginning again. I am used to using a player that always started playing from the point where it was stopped, even after the unit was completely turned off. In fact the only way to get back to the beginning was to deliberately navigate back to it. It is something of a hassle (to put it mildly) that this player doesn't do the automatic resume from last point stopped - but perhaps I'm missing something.

Bookmark list > highlight bookmark > settings > delete bookmark

You're right about the resuming... how in the world could Cowon botch this feature? It's really idiotic, a resume function that doesn't resume. Oh well, let's hope they get it right in a firmware update. (I mentioned this in the negative points in my D2 review.)

However, "resume" at least remembers the place you've been in a file, instead of starting it from the beginning.

Thanks for the info about the resume function - but do you know how to delete bookmarks which are no longer needed?

Default Sorry

Sorry - I think I'm going blind from staring at a screen for too long.
