Parrots, I'd hate to think about your poor wallet when I see all that stuff...

ROFLMAO as you know the One Mysterium-X™ shoots at 4K resolution, there are over 4,000 horizontal pixels - more than twice as many as a widescreen 1080p but at $25,000 I'd rather own a boat

Partially, this would have been fit to "vintage audio", too.

Used an old amplifier, my Dad had lying around and added sources, that I like.

The Technics Discman is part of the rig, as the Sony CD-Player doesn't take CD-Rs and it also has a line-out.

The Medion radio is also connected by line-out, but on it's own it sounds crappy anyway. Besides Internet radio, this also works as a media server, for mp3 and wma.

The iPod is for FLAC only.

Still looking for two small speakers, as this sits behind my TV and I don't have space for anything spectacular.

Being disgusted with sony and samsung panels after having a really good Toshiba with an ips panel I went with an lg also with an ips panel. Also removed my surround sound setup since at peak it usess 1.5 kw and replaced it with a sound bar. Honestly the sound difference in a tiny room like this made very little difference. Sound refraction with my old setup was pretty bad and treatment is not something I want to deal with since I am moving soon. The 7.1 krk setup is going to be pieced out and I have buyers for the extra speakers I will not need.

. . .

I'm using my dad's old NAD speaker amp for my cans right now and it's f**king crazy how good it sounds. I guess amplifier technology really hasn't changed/improved.

It's impressive, even though my only other amp ATM is a Corda Headsix, so far from a good desktop amp.

Yay for non-existant cable management.
