Built me a new desk and got a new screen. pics will come soon as I can get the big bastard desk cleaned off. Its still not painted but I'm working on that.

Well here it is. Hopefully I can find the time to paint it up some time. I'm going to match it as close to my speakers as I can get it.

It wont be an *exact* match. but the colors will look the same, from a short distance they will look alike.

I'm still debating if I should just go black lacquer on the top surface then just the rosewood everywhere else.

My vote would be black lacquer top and the boarder in rosewood, two tone ftw.

Yeah WG, I'm begining to think the black lacquer on the top would look the best. then everything else in the rosewood. I already got enough things on my desk to busy it up.

Here's some changes. Moved my desk upstairs so its not as cold and got a new amp(Marantz NR1402). Picked up a Kindle as well, those are pretty sweet.

Received my 3 new Klutz Design headphone stands few days back so wanted to show them off

My rme interface comes next week, I am slowly getting usb stuff for mobile use. The focusrite interface has akm converters, nice ones and it sounds on par with echo. The focusrite does have better headroom on the mic preamps though (I almost feel like I can use a ribbon mic with it). These "pro" audio interfaces beat hifi stuffs any day. Also the tails action figure helps balance the dark matter sub harmonic drive of the focusrite interface, gives me like infinite dB snr :P.

Syndrome, if you are still looking at a usb audio interface and only need 2 out and a decent headphone amp try the focusrite.
