Strange I have crossfade on and my database is initialized on and I have no problems. Have you tried deleting the ".rockbox" directory and doing a fresh installation?

I can't reproduce any of these problems. Have you tried deleting the ".rockbox" directory and doing a fresh installation. You might want to run a chkdsk/scandisk too.

i'm using a theme which uses a 24 hour clock but i would rather it use the 12 hour clock setting..i've read this link : http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/vie...eal_Time_Clock
but still unsure as to the actual tag setting so..for instance it says... %cf use for a conditional for 12/24 hour format. %?cf<24 hour stuff|12 hour stuff> ...could someone show me the correct syntax for using that tag string in a 12 hour setting, just so i can copy and paste it directly to the wps file.

Thx kugel..but the SentenelAA theme doesnt seem to use that particular tag...here is a copy of some the wps code...perhaps you, or someone else ...can show me what to change so that it's in a 12 hour format instead of the 24 hour format that it is presently set at.

OK, my "codec", non-restarting and database problems are because of Playlists. It doesn't happen when I just use a dynamic playlist but when I load in a saved playlist, the problems start...

I am at a lost. I use a lot of saved playlists and I can't reproduce your problem. Have you tried doing a clean installation?

I'll do another clean installation. It's really a great firmware that adds ALOT of great features. It's great that you care so much about the firmware and it's one of the reasons that make it great.

I had actually never seen a data abort error ever until I deleted .rockbox and redid a clean install of the cpchan custom menu build... dunno what it is that makes it so mad. Maybe the next build is gonna like it more ^^
