Are you experiencing only in the wps and have the statusbar enabled?

Now that you mention it, yes.... (I'm not using any custom WPS.. just the default). I guess this is another issue?

I need to use the status bar... as after I force a DB initialize, I need to see when that disk indicator goes off... as that it seems that I need to do that make sure that the initialization works properly... There actually should be a more obvious way of telling the user to wait, before restarting.

Thanks

anyone know if the ULikeMe V2 theme works with the latest build or not? it does not for me but the zip archive is packed up differently than most others so im not sure if i moved the files to the correct folder (it is not listed under "browse themes but i can select the .wps which is displayed with errors compared to the screenshot on the theme website).

I would say you need some ROMs to start off...

It might just be a problem with my roms, I'm not sure.

I googled for some roms and I got one. I put it on the player and "played" in cpchan's branch. The game loaded and after a few mins of loading, I was able to play. The Sansa isn't a NES nor a GB so playing on it is pretty inadequate...

BTW Charles, glad to return to your build. I kinda missed it.
I noticed that when I messed around with the bar settings, each WPS line started to have some kind of background when it scrolled. I was off for a week so I don't know if this is an issue. Am I the only one having this problem?

Nope, I'm getting it too. I believe this was fixed by a patch in kugel's latest build.

1. Answered in Kugel's thread.
2. It's possible, but you need to edit the source code. I'm sure there'd also be a way to remove it from the menu using a config setting, but I'm still working on that.

It was fixed by an updated patch. I will be updating that later on this week. I am concentrating on something else in the next release (working on that now).

hi charles,
i just noticed that the setting "System -> Battery -> Estimated Maximum Runtime" menu is missing which is needed for battery scaling.
when i manually enter the scaling line in the config file it works (rockbox shows the new max runtime), so the patch seems to be running and is just missing the config menu.

I noticed that was missing also. I can't find in the manual what the line should say.

What exactly does the line look like in your config file for the battery runtime?

Thanks,
Don

I know. This is one of the menu items I am readding in the next release.

Your problem is that the wps is defining its own (different) statusbar which does not have the same height as the hardcoded statusbar. You can either add a tag to the wps theme file to disable the hardcoded statusbar while in the wps or remove the statusbar definition in that file.

I never had this problem until a few days ago. What's new here?

I also don't see a valid wps file for the default Rockbox wps, which is the one I'd prefer to use.

Looking at Rockboxed -- the status bar is on the bottom, on top of the Elapsed time etc...

Thanks
