If you can't wait for the updates, just try another of the offered builds here. There are 3 more.

Default cpchan, he's the man

I will wait. No slight to the other builds, but cpchan's totally rocks. I know he has a life, and I didn't want to sound like I was pressuring him. Sorry if it came off harsh.

Agree. I like Charles' build best also. His is the only one that I don't get the screen glitch with.

Charles, hope you're OK. Looking forward to the new build.

This makes no sense to me. Charles is the only one with the non-genuine patch, but the genuine fix is in SVN. What version of the bootloader are you using? When turning on your Sansa, write down the line beginning with "Version" that displays before the OF/Rockbox loads.
UPDATE: Figured out why - I'm going to assume you're using an old (v0.2 for example) bootloader, one before Sept 5)

(You can find previous information about it in the IRC logs from today - I'm displaying the most direct answer)
<chrisjs169> jhMikeS, so with the fix in SVN, using an old bootloader (v0.2 for example) could still display the glitch?
<jhMikeS> chrisjs169: yup.

Update to a new bootloader version and the screen glitch will go away in all builds.

Forgive me being dense, but how do I get a new bootloader? Do you mean a newer version of "sansapatcher.exe" ??

Where is the best place to get that?

p.s. the "version" line says: "Version r13900 - cpchan branch"

EDIT: nevermind - found the new bootloader and it working. I'm going to try your build chris to see it the glitch is gone.

Do you know of any free games that I can test it out on?

Thanks for the build. The "menu-build" is very lovely build for me.

But it has a bug. While I using playlist(playing), text viewer cannot read saved setting. How can I make this correct?

one more.. when I boot OF, the database rebuild and "musica" folder goes to hide again. I think It's meanningless to make folder name "musica" "playlist". how can I change this folders?

I can reproduce this one. I will look into it.

Strange, it doesn't rehide them for me. Try leaving "music" and "playlists" alone and move your music to a new "musica" directory.

Charles, could you please answer my PM? -- Thanks.

My question: How did you make the buttons for the nes emu? I did pretty much the same (I've looked into your diff), and my nes emu doesn't respond when I hit a button.

Did you add a e200 keymap to nes_rockbox.h? This is what I put:

Code:
#elif CONFIG_KEYPAD == SANSA_E200_PAD

#define NES_BUTTON_UP      BUTTON_SCROLL_UP
#define NES_BUTTON_DOWN    BUTTON_SCROLL_DOWN
#define NES_BUTTON_LEFT    BUTTON_LEFT
#define NES_BUTTON_RIGHT   BUTTON_RIGHT
#define NES_BUTTON_A       BUTTON_UP
#define NES_BUTTON_B       BUTTON_DOWN
#define NES_BUTTON_SELECT  BUTTON_SELECT
#define NES_BUTTON_START   BUTTON_POWER

I can't reproduce this and I have dircache enabled. Can you try doing a fresh installation? Which codec are you using?

Yes I did that. That's why I wonder.
