No, you should use the safely remove feature of Windows when you use Windows. As every USB drive.

Oh ok, I was referring to the native device battery life, and pointing out that the firmware greatly degrades the battery life.

I am having extreme difficulty with getting rockbox to work on my sansa 280. After installing and I go to boot up I get a black screen with white text stating:
"Rockbox boot loader Version: ( i can't get this number as the screen disappears too fast) Partition 0: ( i can't get this number as the screen disappears too fast) partition 1: ( i can't get this number as the screen disappears too fast) loading rockbox.... cant load rockbox .mi4 file not found cant load rock box e200 file not found this has happened both time i have tried to install and had to go back and put original firmware back on during recovery. I am probaly making a very simple mistake but I will tell you how I installed rock box Extracted files to player installed boot loader safely remove just as said in the rockbox manual? I would greatly appreciate the help thanks! |
