Actually, if you use the same bitrate and the same source file, the file size will always be the same (or very, very nearly so)... it kinda has to be.

Don't know, I don't use Rockboy and I didn't change anything there. Can you try a current build and see if you have the same problem?

I just did a test and you were wrong:

WinAVI Video File Size: 72.6MB
WinFF: 36.9MB

Ah what a big improvement, I guess I'm gonna use WinFF then .

**EDIT**
OMG I want to say a million thanks to the RockBox community and to cpchan, you guys gave life to my MP3 player !

Are they using the same bitrate and frame rate?

Default FONT problem

I can't change font in rockbox. I'm in a "browse fonts" pick up one and nothing happens. Fonts are changing but only into that is write in theme config when I change the "theme" . (I hope you understand me )
Can you check this somebody? I' using a cpchan menu rockbox.

Second thing is that when I put a "LCD upside down" into a "quick menu" it doesnt work that way (LCD gets upside down after applaying a new theme).

It is a known problem. Please use this work around:

for now until the problem is fixed. I will be doing some bug fixing tonight.

It's too obsessive. Can't you, please, remove this bug?

Thanks, so now I will wait for a bugfix
I we are talking about fonts...do you know any other font then Unifont that fully support Polish language? I've change to Polish language and change codepage to Latin Extended but only Unifont its working (I was checking this before the FontApplyingBug - as far I remember this was about 2 or 3 weeks ago).

Don't know, have you tried Nimbus. Also, when using a unicode font, try changing your codepage to unicode.

Hi,

i just found something which might be considered as bug. When i try to view some bmp-files rockbox does nothing. The files are located in the photo-folder and can be viewed using the OF without any problems.
Since most of the album-art stuff i read in the forum is related to displaying bmp-files, shouldn't rockbox be able to display those bmps, too?
I mean, since the OF is capable of doing it, rockbox should be, too

Thx 4 help

Rockbox does support bmp internally. However, when you are viewing a file through the file bowser, you are really using a separate plugin. At this point that plugin (jpegviewer) only supports jpeg's.

A new build up. The font selection and the customline (%e tag) problem are now fixed.

Default Song Rating

I keep forgetting to post this. For those who are looking forward to using song rating, it has been working since I enabled dircache in my builds.

The e200 port of Rockbox have support for MicroSD card for quite some time now. As of yesterday, support for SDHC card (up to 32GB) was added.

I just installed latest build and looks like wheel speed decreased. Just my (wrong?) feeling?

Thanx again for such a great job!

hey cpchan ever since i the build you posted on the 16th-17th of this month i seem to get frequent permanent lock ups that can only be resolved by holding the power butt or 15-20 secs it tends to occur just after the the loading screen aswell as when ive used the game plugins bubbles etc.
i have re-formatted the sansa to no avail any ideas?
EDIT: It seems that the reverse boot loader is at fault here just ive been trying the standard one and i have not encountered any problems.
