Is there a chance the patch file may be out of date?
They are in my patch. You can test it out by using something like the iphone cover flow theme. However, I don't know if these patches have any effect on the simulator. I will build one and test it out later.

Well, that's your news.
Actually, I deleted the favouries.rock, but I didn't find "shortcuts.rock" in /.rockbox/rocks. I can't add a dir to the favourites via context menu either :0

Brown paper bag time . I put up the wrong zip file for this build accidentally. Please redownload.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

would it be possible for you to have the shortcuts plugin as an item in the main menu?

i think many of others would like that in fact of it is not really a shortcut to go from main menu to plugins and then to the shortcutsplugin

or is it possible to enter the shortcuts plugin by pushing the rec button or something like that?

I don't think I will be implementing this because it is not global.

I know.

I am thinking about which button to use. If it is going to be the REC button, then I need to do some coding to integrate it with this patch:

http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/5555#comment8661

which is part of the "Recording Enhancement Pack" and my "REC button in Main Menu" patch.. However, I prefer to find a global unused keypress so people can have the best of both worlds. Alternately, I am trying to find a way to integrate this with the "Quick Menu".

This another possibility. I will need to think of the easiest and quickest way for people to access it.

I've noticed something weird. When I'm scrolling through menus with the scrollwheel then the LCD fades out after a certain time. When I'm using the scrollwheel while the display is off, neither the LCD nor the scrollwheellight goes on, while the scrolling function is working (i.e. I can lower the volume, but the display doesn't turn on). The scrollwheellight isn't working at all methinks :0

I can't reproduce this. Is someone else having the same problem? @godess: Can you please post your LCD settings?

Are you still having the problem? I think he really meant a hard shutdown.

No, a normal reboot "fixed" it. I'm curious myself. At first I thought that too, that he means a hard shutdown. But I didn't try a hard shutdown, just a soft one, and the problem is gone.

Default Can't find song rating menu

Hi, I just installed latest CPCHAN build and was trying to assign rating to some songs, but I'm unable to find the rating menu. Any clue?

Thank you.

What is the SVN revision was that build? Have you tried a current build to see if it works?

You mean SVN version of chrisjs162216 build? I think his version is from 30.7

Doh! Simply use the "quick menu" while playing a song.

Hey Charles,

Since you brought up a question about SVN revision, I wanted to know if you would, in your first post, when you load up a new build, post the revision number. The time and date is good to know when you pull out the latest SVN, but knowing the actual revision will help, especially for those that use your patch to build their own (or build a simulator). That way we can use an update command that updates our source to the proper revision that you tested with your patch.

Thanks,
~kockroach
