It could be done but this feature of the original firmware is very annoying for some users (not for me though). I heard that a lot of people accidentally press the REC button while listening to music and I assume that that's awkward.

I don't know, I'm not a developer. You could ask on the Rockbox IRC and maybe someone will make a special build for you. But I won't be surprised if no one will do it for you.

Thank you! I recall now however that the "Panic" error started about June 7 (I was looking at a calendar in my desk but got a little disoriented). Anyway, at least booting Rockbox is faster with this build.

Is it just for me or do u also don't have sound in mpeg player in the actual build?
i tried 2 videos i knew that sound was working and both wer mute. now i am using an older build and sound works

Was the auto database indexing fixed? It seems that it tells me that it's indexing now. But, since, as I mentioned before, the manual indexing doesn't work 100% for me... the auto indexing doesn't work 100% either...

No, I don't think so. However, it is very easy to select the recored function from the main menu- this also frees up the rec button for other things.

It takes that long to check the MicroSD card? Try my latest build and see if things have improved (I don't have a MicroSD, so I can't test it, but building the database for my almost full e280 (8 GB internal flash memory) is really fast for me. Also, what happens when you try to play a track?

I will need to wait for it to be resynced with SVN. The patch does apply abate with some manual patching. However, there seem to be some changes in the recording API- the resulting firmware feezes my Sansa on start up.

Last build seems OK with microsd for me (Sandisk 2Gb microsd). Currently listening from the microsd, no problem. I had some cut in the audio the first time I played a song from it, however. Can't reproduce now, I played with many options (audio, ...) and everything is fine, with lots of them turned on (equalizer, dithering, crossfeed, ..).

Hi To All I have been watching and quietly learning and today I took the Plunge and Installed ROCKBOX To say Iam Impressed would be an understatement the Thing Is Just awesome With the new audio Patches the sound quality Is superb, Well to my old ears anyway

I love the Theme too and I changed the foreground colour to my Favourite RED, and as for the games my daughter Is In hog heaven.
