Yes, gabe565, VP is only on the WPS.
b\c if you'll try to put a Customline theme, the menu will be perfectly viewed.
But the WPS will be only lines and stuff...

I downloaded your custom build but it said there was an error. I do not have a top directory folder. So i just dragged it onto the folder of my sansa e250. I don't get it...

There's a patch that is a Matrix plugin with password protection, but isn't really what you're looking for. I don't remember the patch number tough.

yeah, it seems that just about all development on it has stopped. i could get one rom to fully work and it was chugging along at a nice 4fps.
id say, on an e2X0v1 its going to be quite a while until we can get it to run and a nice rate.

Plugged it in the computer and now it won't turn off with the blue ring on

For some reason after downloading what I think is the latest build (from the link on the first page) certain themes don't work anymore (mainly the now playing screen). Instead of the correct now playing screen, it's just the default Rockbox screen. Is there something i'm supposed to be doing to get the themes working?

Use themes compatible with view ports, or work on making them compatible.

Thanks for the reply, but what are view ports? All the themes were working with the previous (older) version of cpchan's branch that I was using so I assumed they would work with the latest one.

Many themes have been updated to work with view ports. Such themes are indicated by a VP following the name. If the theme you want to use is one of these, just replace it with the VP version.

Is there any news about the new/next update? It's been over 3 days since the last post and over a week since Charles posted anything.

I'm not trying to be pushy but, I've been watching for it at the original estimate back on Feb 16th. I know stuff came up at work and people show up unexpectedly, and I understand. It happens to me all the time.

I just want some sort of update. I don't mean to pry but...

Charles, has your brother let you get back to your usual routine yet? Are you looking into the new usb support?
