Video conversion question...

I have this video I want to convert, but I'm having a problem...

The samsung media studio can't convert .mov to the format needed to work on the MP3 player, correct? Is there a way to get the codac that it needs to convert it? Or will I have to convert it to something else, and then convert it to .svi?

I was looking into programs that can apparently do that, but I can't find any that are free, or that the trial version will allow more than one minute. The video I want to convert is under 2 minutes, so I'm not really willing to buy a program at this time.

Any ideas as to how to get this video to convert?

I don't think you have tried this program Media coder yet it's a free project to convert many video files for free : http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/download.htm
This program will allow you to convert the MOV format to any other format you want Like Avi or mpg... After that you use SMS to convert your file to Svi.
