Very nice! I saw the pic. That was a quick job going from the post to getting all parts etc. No stores like radio shack here in norway so a cmoy would cost the same as a woo6

I doubt it cost you 1,035 sheepland dollars but I'm sure it was not cheap.

Better than any other player i've had. Hadnt plan on moving my music to it, but itunes have stuff I've been looking for both legally and illegally other places for years without luck. Having principles about DRM is only good up the to point where it stops me from getting music, then it's not worth it anymore

That sounds about right. Its cheaper to bulk order 100 components form ebay than buy one in norway. Thats why i have 100 packs of everything from battery connectors to audio jacks and LEDs

Its not better in terms of sound quality, AT ALL (which is why i HAVE to use an amp and line out), and itunes would sure bug 95% of people on here. Still, it automates everything i needed some hacked together apps for previosuely, like podcast downloads and last.fm scrobbling, and the music store - especially the wifi one - is very nice because of the number of songs available, price compared to my other alternative and ease of use compared to my other alternative. Found a lot of new stuff i couldnt find before. Its the small things with itunes and the touch that gives a better overall user experience despite it being technically way inferior. Being able to sort tv shows from movies or music videos, having podcasts removed automatically when they've been listened to/watched, gapless for pink floyd's "the wall", being able to tag an album as having various artists and make it show as a single entry without osing the artist info like on other players, easy playlists, autogenerated playlist with top songs etc. While others wouldnt care about that, for me its worth losing sound quality and battery life over. Also accessories is big plus, both being able to DIY stuff and also readily available ones like the logitech alarm clock i bought or plug in speakers, bluetooth transmitter, tv out cables ++++. If you dont use any of this, its a totally useless device stuck with a program that crashes if you look at it wrong (itunes).

Yup I agree with u captain.. Ipod touch is a nice device.. but kinda fall short on SQ... I really cant just let go of SQ than functionality.. I seemed to be happy and fell in love with my walkman.. But I respect ur opinion... I touch really is a nice device but kinda fall short on some areas

Sorry I couldnt ressist... where did u get the sticker in ur vaio??? I want it... if u made it whats the font??

The Vaio is Enzo's, he took the first pictures in that article. I have a dell laptop for stationary use and the blue acer aspire one in the last pictures for portable use. Mine too has a sticker, although not abi: http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/IMG_2836.jpg

The alarm dock i bought, logitech pure fi anytime, kinda takes care of the battery issue. It sits there all night so its fully recharged in the morning anyways. I also have a dock cradle connected to USb so it sits there during the day when not in use.
