This is my main player today; cowon D2 4GB internal 8GB SDHC and an awesome sounding pair of heapdhones. I just wish someone hadn't stolen my Senn HD202, their sound wasn't as good as this one but their sound isolation was so much better...

Nice... this is the newer version of the MDR-V7 (aka, the only good Sony in that range), right?

I think the 7509 is the newer one. The 7506 is just a rebadged V6.

It's a pretty old pair, it was the last one in stock I got a nice bargain as they found it in their basement so it can't be pretty new It's a rebadged V6 like Tobey says. Old stuffs rules

And not the silly 12-hour clock so popular here in the US either, the real deal....love all the info on that screen

I finally got a pair of Phonak AUDEO PFE. They sure are great iems. I admire they comfort and incredible seal. They will never loose seal no matter how hard I shake my head.

The sound they produce is really great. I like teir signature, though they lack a bit of bass.

This iems dont make good couple with kinder-players like the Zune, wich it lacks any sort of equilazer or sound anchencement. So, welcome back COWON, my love

Dude in Phonak distributors shop told me I am the first person in Warsaw to get a pair of these.

An obligatory pic (it is so dark, damn you winter!):

Can't see anything, too bad. Crappy Imageshack... they're seriously laggy lately - if they even load the pics at all. Maybe try Photobucket?

Anyway, congrats - they sure give many IEMs a run for their money, no matter what price range....

Did you try the black filters on the Phonak? I like them a lot better than the grey ones.

I think I prefer the black ones too, they might be a little more bassy, even though it is not obvious. If I tried AB comparison I might get some more precise impression. It takes me a little while to remove the tips, and replace the filters to remember the signature I heard with different filters

To be honest - both filters sound great

BTW: I just LOVE the comply foam tips. First time I use these kind of tips, and I must say I am very pleased with them. The seal is so good...
