Thanks Greg... using a tent is essential for good light, especially with glossy, shiny gadgets: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5269

BTW; your 'Sone cable looks fine - hope I get some new plugs soon to do the same.

I already commented on Head-Fi, but the similarities between our rigs are not to be overlooked.

Yeah, but as I also said on Head-Fi, there is quite a difference when it comes to the IEMs. Wish I had some UE11s, but between here and Head-Fi, my wallet (and my GF) is already screaming at me, heh.

Though I am extremely happy with the Etys. I love the Ety sound!
I'm actually considering getting the APS cable for them as well. I read good things about it on Head-Fi.

Heheh... wow. How can a person love ER4 and HFI-780 sound? That's a paradox!

Haha, true, true...
I really like the HFI-780s. It all depends on the mood I'm in and what kind of music I want to listen too. Also, how portable I need to be, heh.

I will get the 780s recabled soon by S2 Audio though and will probably be using them a lot more often than I do now.

Long story short... You know how it is, no matter how much one likes that analytical Ety sound, every once in awhile you just want some bassy and fun 'phone on your noggin. The 780s satisfy that urge for me quite well.

Also, keep in mind that my hearing is not yet as finely tuned as yours is. I'm still a noob at this if you will...

I love the HFI-780 too - actually I find myself using the HFI more often than the HD650 at home. But I understand you - sometimes I just have to grab my surgically precise q-Jays to get a way different sound. Not that the HFI aren't precise enough... they certainly reveal every detail as well... but different.

I love the pictures with big ass headphones, hooked up to a Clip. That player is tiny.

Even more awesome stuff, WalkGood. I wish I could find some gigantic leaves to set my Clip and 'phones on. Does a huge pile of dead leaves count?
