Your wish has been granted. Until you show us a picture of a clean Zen, you user title will remain "Crapman"

Default My New Hotness!

A couple of weeks ago, I attended a crap-tacular presentation by StoresOnline.com, which offered a free lunch and a free MP3 player.

The MP3 player turned out to be this cheap iPod Shuffle knock-off that comes in at a whopping 128MB.

Oddly enough, this thing sounds good, especially with some descent headphones, and even has bookmarking ability. However, since its software pops us as a virus and the thing crashed my computer a couple of times, I use an old IBM ThinkPad to upload an "impressive" thirty songs on to it.

Here are a few crappy pics to go with the crappy player and some older Koss Sparkplugs:

It actually and surprisingly sturdy. The build quality is horrible, but you have to love any gadget held together with two, count 'em two, tiny screws!

Hey Hulk, I also think the Sparkplugs are OK. For their price they sound pretty good and they have a lifetime warranty.

The ones in the pic are my brother's. He used them with his old Sharp mini-disc player. I think they do sound all right, and they make that crap-tacular player sound better than it should.
