Thanks for that. I've deleted that post and the warning in Chrome has stopped for me.

Different browsers with different settings will give various reactions so what's happening for me may not be universal. Can anyone that's getting the warning check again to see if it still pops up for them? Wouldn't want anyone to miss any of the pron due to a warning that isn't needed anymore.

@jack64, feel free to post again with the images hosted at another site. Every member has an album here and can you can upload them there then link them in a new post.

I like that S639! But how many years do you think it'll last? My experience with my old A805 was only 3 years and it was brand new when I got it

I have no idea how long it might last, to be honest. I'm sure it won't get the 50 hour battery rating that it had when it was new, but hey, if I'm content with Clip Zip battery life, then this S639 should last me a while still.

I hope it lasts for you. It's sad when DAPs die

Anyway, isn't that an original Sony Silicone Case on the S639? Original cases cost so much! I can only afford third party ones. Do you think this will be a good buy? http://www.amazon.com/Protector-NWZ-...+nwz-e474+case

It is an original Sony skin, yes....but it was on there already when I made the trade. I don't think I have ever bought anything but 3rd party cases myself.....that one you linked to should work fine.

I'm pleased to present you Rockbox on Sony Walkman DAPs

Already working on my NWZ-E360 (on the pic) and on NWZ-E370. Quick port thanks to pamaury, French Rockbox dev.

Several players (E340, E440, E440K, S540) share a very close or common firmware to the E360 so they might be supported quite soon too.

edit: dedicated thread to discuss it here: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...ad.php?t=72854

I'm curious: Why did you choose to go with a right-angle connector coming out of your TMA-1s, RaduSpeedy?

Well, no reason whatsoever, I just wanted to replace the original cable, to make them more portable, and this cable is long enough for me (I'm 6 foot tall). Anyway, it has the advantage that instead of pointing down, it hangs in front of my shoulder and it doesn't rub against my clothes, so less cable noise

P.S. : the cable is right angled on both sides.

Cool, thanks for the response. I'd never seen someone opt for an angle connector on the headphone end (yes, I could see that both ends were right-angled ), so it piqued my interest.

Yes, the background image is changed (see attachment), and (as far as I remember) I chose a smaller font (16-DroidSans-Bold.fnt) for the menus and the file browser.

Cowon J3 with ShinWoo T-PEOS H-100 (with Comply tips). These are most likely the same IEMS that Cowon has rebranded under the name of Cowon EH2. Still auditioning them, but so far I am enjoying them.
