More like inquiring. Just test it out a bit and kinda like what I got. Need to back up the computer before I try to install Linux. Very powerful UMPC for what it's getting right now.

havent contributed anything in a while so I figured I would post my gym gear since I finally nailed down the combo

Rockboxed Fuze+ (playlist on shuffle only)
Philips SHE3590 with comply tips and meelec ear hooks

The entire setup is really light and cheap (fuze+ can be found for $30 refurbed, SHE for $10 on amazon or $7 at some tj maxx stores) but sounds great.

Lol no thanks the iPod is the only portable device I have that can access the internet (besides laptop, which isn't really portable because it has no battery) .

I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Philips for the price, is it true?

yeah, its true. I mean, don't get all crazy and think its better than a $100 set but its very damn capable for $10-15. and they improved the cable some from the SHE3580 to the new SHE3590. not as stiff.

Just picked up 2 pairs of the Incase Reflex headphones..

They were marked down to $7.99 at Marshall's (Think TJ Maxx).

My ears/brain are still adjusting to them, but I am tapping my toes to Prince right now, and have no complaints. More in depth thoughts to follow... (In the appropriate thread, of course.)

I've just tried a neat trick to improve my Grado's comfort. Works just fine, looks very decent!

My R2 just arrived from the UK

It's (and will probably remain) the last Samsung touchscreen player with a proprietary OS but the design and the UI are strongly inspired by Android smartphones as you can see

The R2 between the GS2 and the R1

Bonus:

How to save as much money as possible on products nobody is interested in anymore? Just re-use the same box again and again

PS: R1 users may get Rockbox very soon, lucky guys
