Not to change the subject , but...



My Samsung Stratosphere (about to be replaced with a new one courtesy of Verizon because it likes to reboot for no good reason in particular) and my new MEE Air-Fi AF32 Bluetooth headphones. Surprisingly wonderful SQ on these both wireless and wired, and incredibly comfy, too. These were a steal on Woot! a while back and I just couldn't resist.

Took a pass on the headphones because I was the bluetooth might make them heavier than what I like in a portable headset. How well do they stay in place when you're active? Any comparison to the MEE HT-21 you sold me?

I haven't noticed any discernible heaviness to the Air-Fi. They seem extremly light and comfortable. I only really using them while in flight or sitting around, so I can't say as to their staying in place while active, but they do have adequate clamping force for my tastes.

I think when wired they are are slightly above the HT-21 in terms of SQ, and that's probably because I'm getting better isolation with the Air-Fi. When in wireless mode, they sound pretty fantastic, as well, and I would still take them over the HT-21.

They must sound really nice. The HT-21 went unused after an initial quick listen. I thought they were too light in the bass. Once I finally decided to find why so many people were praising them I found my first impression was wrong.

With the right EQ settings there's plenty of fast, multi-layered bass. They'll never be heavy hitters but what they put out is sweet to my ears.

I probably wouldn't have a Cowon by now if you hadn't put it up as such a good price. Thanks again for a great transaction and lots of hours of music enjoyment.

Another nice surprise. Clear sounding in doors and out for me so far. MEE usually doesn't disappoint and they didn't here with the Air-Fi IMHO.

I wonder is the battery replaceable? How hard would it be to get inside?

Even if you don't use it much for audio it would be cool to have the backlit clock working.

The battery is replaceable I guess as it can be found here for $30 for example http://www.samsungparts.com/Products...x?model=YPW3LZ

But if they have had it in stock for 7 years now it is probably more dead than mine And I don't have any idea how to disassemble the player without damaging it. No visible screw, I don't know how parts are stuck together.

HSN, not sure how i missed this post. very nice. I really want a set of those Meelec for work. my cables are constantly snagging on my chair arms, etc.

I ruined a perfectly good pair of PortaPros that way, wearing them at work. I know that I could send them in and get them repaired, but I haven't felt like bothering with it....I have plenty of other ones to listen to.

how does the bass output compare to the ht21? I know we have both owned those so it will give me a point of reference.
