Just thought you (and everyone else) would be better served if your question was asked and discussed in a thread of it's own.

Default My two Zen Vision's! Audio Bliss! :)

Here's a bunch of pictures + some headphones! Just got both recently and am realizing that I was a fool for encoding my collection in lossy filetypes .

Oh and of course, what collection would be complete without a drawer of CD's?

Helix. In '86, Honda offered a Kenwood system as an option. A decent system at the time, but current technology blows it away!

I traveled across Canada this summer and during my stop in Vancouver I had the chance to spend some time at the Headphone Bar.
I brought back a superb pair of Grado 325i which I'm enjoying more and more. There's something magical about how it renders the voices, guitars and violins ... Also, the lower end is quite meaty, which I wasn't expecting from such precise cans. A different animal compared to the 225s, 60s or 80s.

Here they are, resting on the broken chair I'm using as a rack

Yes it is, it was unexpectedly broken during our Saint Patrick night and the dude who ruined it wrote a note on the remaining pieces. Part trophy, part functional piece of furniture

My 3 new players

Samsung YP-K3 4GB: Shitty touchpad player but with a nice GUI style

Philips Rush SA126: 1st Philips player released in 2000. No internal memory, 32MB or 64MB SmartMedia card, 2x AAA batteries. Non-backlighted LCD screen.

Sansa E250v1 2GB with microSD slot. Just to try rockbox and port my theme to this target

Got back the blue Clip Zip I sold a while back. An absolute steal....traded a USB wall charger, one of six that I had, to get the Zip back. Rockboxed it immediately and took the 32GB card out of my phone and tossed it in there.
