That would certainly eliminate any tooling around with MM or FB2K.

When RockBox can easily be installed with the RB Installer I'll get another classic. But, the classic sounds fantastic on it's own. The RB EQ is a great bonus,...but NOT necessary on it. The iPod has come a long way,...but I still luv me some Sony!!!

I know you're opposed to any type of software and love your drag/drop, but if that was my only concern I could do that now with SharePod. I already drag/drop on four other devices, but none of them have 100GB (or more) of tunes on them either.

I think in this circumstance some software may well be useful, so it's at least worth exploring.

Thanks HSN!!! It's just a nice leather case I took the clip off of. And a rubber band + double sided sticky tape keep it all nice and snug. I'm waiting for my recabled Sony cans to get here to team the A867>FiiO with.

I see we think alike. I'm not using the eq on the A867, so I decided I like the bass boost on the E11 instead. Sounds pretty good,...slightly muffled but more than acceptable.

The T5 is a powerful little sucker, no doubt...but best suited for the "as the artist intended" crowd, unless you have headphones that are bass-heavy already.
