I can't recommend the Flats enough. I think they sound better than my PortaPros, and I paid about ten times as much more those!

You could read my review about them (linked in my sig below). I like them better than the DT770. The TMA-1 got a more realistic midrange, better timbre, and a more natural soundstage than the DT770. The Beyers are more comfortable, however, being circum-aural.
