i saw this at lunchtime for £40 in a second-hand shop near the Cathedral:




Whoever had it before had left a whole load of music on it (nothing i liked) plus some dirty pictures of him and his girlfriend so i wiped everything and put my own stuff on there.









it's a nice player, I don't know anything about BBE so have some reading and tinkering about to do, also am not sure about the swing-touch but am sure I'll get used to it.

About the pics and music the person left on it. I have an article at home that talks about the ridiculously high % of devices and drives that are never wiped or properly wiped and then where those drives end up. So no surprise there...but you'd think the person would at least get rid of the sensitive ones...

It's funny actually i used to work in a store that sold lots of refurb electronics and we would constantly get phones, daps, etc with information still on them. I got a few great albums i would have otherwise not known about in that way hehe.

lol, no I didn't keep them, but Salisbury is a small city it was mad of him to leave them there.

yes, I was pretty lucky its an 8Gb player and I think the shop just thought 'it's not an ipod'.

I saw a news special once that bought 5 second hand copiers and pulled the data from the internal hard drives. One had case files from the local PD sex crimes unit. case numbers and names and everything. crazy.

Years ago I salvaged several SCSI HDDs thrown away by a major bank's accounting department in my street. Next to all the data, the HDDs all contained at least a dozen viruses and trojans. Your money is in good hands.

Ok, not the greatest quality pic your gonna see in here but I had two very special deliveries yesterday and I had to share. One is my MS-1 woodied by Larry at Headphile and the other is Jacob, my first born. So since they both have the same b-day I thought Id take a pic of them together right here in the hospital room. I was so happy when I ran home to get some baby supplies to see my headphones waiting for me on the porch! Damn, what a day its been!!

If the pic with no audio is inappropriate here please just remove it mods!
