I am in MSC Mode, checked several times. Sansa media Converter notices the player but the Sansa Manager says I am disconnected. I have .net 2.0.any ideas?

Well, I've read through this thread and I throughly read the program's homepage and not once did I find what the program is/does. Minor points I guess.

i have the same problem with player disconnected. also tryed in MSC Mode. maybe windows vista is a problem?

I am using XP with the same problem so that isn't it.

This program kicks ass!!! I use it every day, and totally love it!!!


The only question I have... at the bottom right is the % of space on the device. When I open the program it shows how much is available and I begin to move music onto it, however the graph at the bottom right doesn't seem to update unless I close the program and re-open it.

Is there a way around this?

Unfortunately, the developer has abandoned this program and released the source code. I doubt anyone will be able to compile it because of the reasons stated here on his site.

This sucks, I was really looking forward to this program.

I am probably asking an obvious question but what is MSC mode?
And how do I do it on my e280r?

MSC mode is Mass Storage Class mode(compatible on most modern and old(from win 98 SE) operating systems). MSC mode on the R ver. of the sansa is called Rhapsody mode, which is probably where the confusion comes in. MTP= Playsforsure mode on the sansa.

I would just like to point out, that I too had a problem with my not recognizing my E260... The problem for me was in my Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 .. It needed repairs so I elected to uninstall it, a menu came up and said, some programs may not work if I uninstall it, or repair database... I elected to repair the database and all is well... Plug it in and it works once again..
