Default Unmount error

Running Feisty Fawn Ubuntu, no problems untli the other day. Had to reflash my e250 (jumping down to windows, first time in a month i think) after which linux acted weird (I think due to the new volume name assigned by the reformat. After i changed the volume name It would mount correctly but not unmount--It gives the error "could not delete the directory" --rather non descriptive.

If i reboot in text mode, i get a little more "could not delete directory /media/Sansa040e250 : does not exist" Which seems as if the system is picking a name from a config file that is written wrong for the space. This problem is the only thing keeping me from using my sansa fully.

Was thinking perhaps it is a /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-usb-music-players.fdi
file problem--anyone have a copy of this from a working feisty install or know where I can get one?

Anyone know what this problem is from?
