I had the same problem w/ my router that uses WEP encryption. After several attempts i converted my WEP key into hexi-decimal input and tried that once. That didn't work so i tried the original WEP key one more time - figured if it didn't work the unit was going back. You guessed it - it worked, and my connection always works now even after a couple of total resets. Don't know why but it works.
