I'm really not seeing the appeal here. 12" screen and touch (oooOooo).

I don't get it either. If I was plunking that type of money for a laptop, I would get a real laptop instead.

I had the chromebook beta device, and if this were around $350 I'd say it's worth it. For what they're asking it'll be a complete flop. What a waste,...

So your paying 1300 for a laptop with just a web browser. sure it has a super high res screen but you can get a Macbook Pro with Retina display for 200 more dollars.

While I wouldn't pick one up myself, I can understand the reasons for this existing a little better after reading this article.
