Stuck on battery too low system shutdown

I found similar threads to my problem, but not my exact problem. My problem is that it won't shut down, is unresponsive, and my pc won't detect it.

It says "Battery too low system shutdown" and stays like that, it's been like that for the past few hours.

Try pulling the battery out for a few minutes and then putting it back in. The e200 series is the last player SanDisk made that is designed to be easy to replace the battery; just 4 small screws holding the back plate on.

If this doesn't help, you may need a new battery.
