Smile Formatting

For everyone's information.
I e-mailed Sandisk Technical support and was given the following information on formatting the e270:

FAT is the older format used in formatting most devices. Devices that reads FAT32 formatted products also read FAT formatted ones. But there are devices that only read FAT formatted products. To ensure compatibility with more number of devices, we strongly suggest formatting in FAT. But since you have a 6GB device, then FAT32 is more appropriate. FAT32 is used to format larger memory devices, since the FAT format is limitted to format only upto 2GB of memory partition.
