Ouya $99 Android-based OPEN gaming console

This Kiskstarter project aims at making an open Android power game counsel. This is significant and pretty cool as it allows indie game makers to easily distribute their games without facing restrictions or high coast developing for the PS3 or xbox and it will bring more free and very affordable games for gamers. The company has a policy for every game to at very minimum allowing people to try a free demo before purchasing. There seem to be a lot of interest in the project already as it surpassed their goal of $950 000 of the first few hours of people being able to donate towards the project.

Although this is pretty cool, I would be wary of donating based on the expectation of receiving a console. Ouya could turn out to be vaporware, and you could end up $99 short.
