Default Found Video Conversion Solution For Audio Video Sync Problem

Hello Guys

was facing audio video out of sync problem once video is reversed or forwarded on d2; did lot of googling (couldn't find any effective solution)

after testing various video converters and configs, here is what i have found a satisfactory solution:

Using Format Factory (Free Software) :

Converting To AVI

Codecs: Xvid,
FPS : 30,
Size : 320 X 240
Bitrate : Default (D2 supports upto 2 Mbps so what the heck, u might wanna change that)

Audio : Default (D2 supports upto 320 Kbps mp3, so no probs here as well)

There is no audio video sync at all even after u reverse or forward or do anything else....

Video quality is awesome....

sound isn't that awesome, but good enough (or may be i need to encode sound as well)

The only con is slow conversion speed....

Winavi converter was one hell of a speedracer (upto 1/4 th time of any other software, plus small file size after conversion, with good audio and video) but giving audio-video sync problem as soon as u reverse or forward the video....

Please let me know if there is any other fast conversion software which may give similar results....(planning to check out Magic Video Converter soon)....or any other better solution....

Also, if someone expert may comment on to what is the actual problem in D2 firmware that gives rise to this problem.

posted so that it may help other people facing similar problems.....
