Default A Cowon for the elderly.

My dad (65yrs old) has expressed interest in trying a cowon player. The main two drawing features would be sound quality and battery life. As i stated in a different post somewhere else, it is often days and weeks before he uses a player again, all the sansa ones lose a charge by the time he wants to use one, and he forgets to charge before hand etc.
I'm hoping a d20, or x9 will keep its charge if it has been awhile since last picked up and used...
My C2 has a 55hr battery life rating, not sure what my i9 player was but it did lose its charge from being full to zero in a few months of sitting in the car (as a back up player incase C2 broke when I was at work).
So criteria would be:

1) long battery life
2) The easiest UI to navigate
3) largish screen

Being a C2 owner I'm not convinced the D20 or C2 would be good. Even with custom UI I think it might just be too fiddly a player for him. The X9 or X7 come to mind as being more suitable, perhaps even a i10.

Anyone owning any of these care to throw yer 2 cents in regarding UI and battery life?

PS: his main choice of music would be classical based
