I think most people here will agree that active noise cancelling is not exactly for audiophiles.
If you need to hear music in noisy environment (transport), you need headphones or IEMs providing good passive isolation.

For closed cans, I personnaly like Shures SRH series for their isolation. They're a bit large, but at least they fold.
I wil let other people suggest other closed cans with good isolation, my prefrence is more on the intras side.
