@Predelnik:
Sometimes the female micro-usb connector died, and it must be resolder to work properly. you can disassemble the player and check if one (or more) pin(s) are disconnected from the board.

Yeah I could disassemble just fine but usb pins are really microscopic and I only have too big soldering iron for them (not that I very good in soldering in general). Maybe I'll ask some people in repairing workshops for doing it though))

Yes, you could try.. Generally the cause of the USB malfunctioning are his pins, and not the electronic controller.
Keep us informed about it!

Pretty funny: haven't had much time to try to repair my r0 but kept using it with micro sd, 3 days ago I noticed that usb connection started working okay as it used to)) Dunno for how long it will last, but that was sure unexpected and positively surprising))

That's due to higher temperatures in Russia those days! 25°C is good for R0

I can't remember if this has been mentioned before (I can't be bothered to trall through the previous pages
) but would it possible to give an indication of charge during battery charging? It's only when we unplug the R0 and then turn it on that we can see how charged (or uncharged!!) the battery is!
