I'm looking to buy the G3 or U2 players predominately for the line-in and FM recording features.
How many hours can be stored in the 2Gb of memory of the U2? Is the recording format and quality (i.e. resultant file size) user selectable? I have never owned a digital music player before so I am new to all the format stuff. The other one tempting me is the iAudio6 with 4Gb micro HDD, but it too expensive. Thanks |

This is a little late... But I have a U3 with 4GB... I have filled about 1/2 up with songs already and I use the line in record often... The longest I have recorded for is about 2.5 hours straight. No problems with it and I dont think it would have stopped till it ran out of space.
As far as quality you have a few selections 64k, 80k, 96k, 128k. And it records to WMA. |
