Since the program outputs images, you should be able to use it to read text files on your Insignia. You'll just need to choose an image format your player recognizes, set screen width and height properly and convert the file.

Great find! It is a quick and simple program, allows to view text as image fine on Insignia NS-DV. Just set it to custom 320x240 and that you can customize the color, font etc. is great. Just wish there is a way to do navigate photos better, the photo browser is very slow on NS-DV. Putting the text into folders of 100 or such can help but the problem is you can't start viewing a photo and continue. When you select play all it starts playing from the first image in the folder. Anyone have a way around this?
