I just upgraded my zen micro to a 16gb Kingston CF card. At first, I thought it wasn't going to work. I put the micro back together after installing the card, and ... nothing, the micro wouldn't turn on. I then connected the micro to my my pc via usb, (windows XP, Sp3) while holding the power switch in the ON position. The micro booted into recovery mode. I successfully formatted the CF, then loaded/reloaded the firmware (version 1.11.something). Viola! I now have a sweet sounding Zen Micro with a little over 15gb of usable capacity. Think you have to use a Win XP PC, and have pre-installed the zen micro xp driver and the Zen Explorer software. Hope this helps.
