Nah I don't think so, it seems to naturally bend back to that 'love heart shape' (pictured above). FYI I took the black rubber gizmo band off the back of the white cable as it seemed to serve no purpose for me (might be different in a swimming scenario). It was already tight, I didn't need to use the black band for further tightness.
There is 'memory' in terms of the player always bending back into it's original natural shape, but I doubt it will ever conform to a better fit even after months of use. Get a mannequins head and leave the player on it for days at a time between use lol.

I think it's important to note that where this player falls short could be considered 'user specific'. Everyone knows I listen to all of my DAPs at volumes far far higher than most users here. This player may will indeed have sufficient volume for 90% users.
And same goes for ease of fit. I can't wear any IEM with anything other than triple flange tips, single and double flange style fall out. Furthermore the triple flange need to be large and not medium or small...
I know many users of IEMs don't fall into this category, the issues I have may just be specific to my unique ear shape and ear canal direction etc.

Certainly in terms of price I found $99 to be a fair and decent deal. If someone wanted to go wireless the cost of wireless bluetooth headphones can be around this same price, sometimes more (Blue Bud X's) sumtimes less (Plantronics Backbeat Go 2's), but then neither of those options are fully water proof and intended for swimmers.
