Version 2.21.01? The latest version for the Zen is 1.21.01.

Is the Zen being recognized by the computer (Device Manager; no errors) and the firmware upgrade program? Does the upgrade fail during the upgrade process?

Zen is being recognized by the computer. When i run the upgrade program, it says "Upgrade Failed". So i tried the USB port provided from the motherboard, but it still doesnt work.

EDIT: After pressing the reset button it works now. At the same time im using the windows vista theme. Would there b any failure of firmware upgrade for upcoming firmwares from the present 1 i hav?

Please make sure you are using the correct firmware. The latest version for the Zen is 1.21.01. I would also make sure you are trying to install the firmware by booting into Recovery Mode first and selecting the Reload Firmware option which will erase the currently installed firmware and then ask you to connect to the computer to install the new version. Before doing this, it is good to ensure that you have a good connection with the Zen and perhaps even with the firmware program while booted into Recovery Mode and connected to the computer.

A Rockbox port for the ZVM has been started, but not for the Zen.

Nobody started on a Rockbox port for the Zen, but there has been some work done on the ZV:M: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/vie...reativeZVMPort

Here's how you start porting Rockbox to a new target: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/NewPort

Well since i've been looking at learning a programming language anyway, Learning C seems like a good idea, but learning it on a mac.. I have no idea. Any other support would be welcomed! I pretty fulent in CSS and a bit of HTML

I'm up for the challenge!

Default Source of Creative Wizard?

Anyone know a source of the Creative Wizard software that was on the now-defunct www.epiZENter.net ?

Or any other software that can modify the Creative firmware for UI customisation?

Thanks.

Found it: http://search.4shared.com/q/1/creati...w=ls&suggested

But I cannot find the Theme Resource Editor, or any themes such as Saulius Themes. Does anyone have a copy they can give me?
