Glad it's working out for you. One thing I had an iTunes user point out to me was that they use the export playlist as a .m3u function in iTunes to make up for iTunes only syncing iPods.

They export the playlists to the Playlist folder in the Musicbee library. When you fire up MB the playlist shows up automatically. If the content has changed so does the playlist content in Musicbee. Since MB doesn't mess with tags or move files unless you tell it to iTunes doesn't get confused by another software using files indexed by the iTunes database.

If the playlist is included as part of your Autosync settings it updates on the player when you sync. Not quite as convenient as having iTunes do it directly but better than having to try to keep your playlists synced manually.

I've been exporting iTunes playlists for years - LOL!!! I save 'em to a folder on my desktop & use them with compatible software all the time.

As for MusicBee, it worked almost perfect. I set it up to convert & sync and it did as I asked. The only issue was when I decided I wanted 1less playlist it seemed to have a problem NOT continuing to sync it. And no matter what I tried it continues to do so. I ended up having to clear everything out & I just put the extra playlist on the internal memory.

Man, screw AAC,...too many issues just because of Sansa.
