clix and U10 hardware details

Hi all,

Opening the U10 is surprisingly easy. Enzo wondered whether the clix board might be identical to the U10 2GB. The answer is: no. The 2GB model is almost identical to the 1GB and 512 MB models, I suppose.

Here's mine, a U10 2GB from Europe with UMS:


This looks identical. The memory on top of the clix is flash. But don't confuse this with the memory on top of the U10: that's just 256 MB of RAM. The flash is hidden on the back side, behind the battery. The big surprise: U10 is probably ready for 4 GB!?
